KUALA LUMPUR - Speculation surrounding the resignation of Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli continues to be widely discussed despite no information from any party so far.
Communications Minister and unity government spokesperson Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said he has not received detailed information regarding the rumoured resignation.

"Honestly, I have no information about Rafizi’s resignation.
"For now, it’s best for all of us to wait and see," he told reporters.
He made these remarks after attending the closing ceremony of the Sigma Project here on Tuesday.
When asked further, Fahmi said no information has been given by PKR leaders on the matter to date.
He added that any information related to the resignation would surely be made public.
On May 10, Rafizi reportedly said he would resign from his Cabinet post and revert to being a regular Member of Parliament if he failed to retain the position of PKR Deputy President.
In last week’s party elections, Nurul Izzah Anwar won the deputy presidency by a large majority, while Rafizi secured only 28 per cent of the votes.
Rafizi insisted that he remained motivated and determined to continue his fight for a better Malaysia.
Prime Minister and PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had earlier stated that a Central Leadership Council (MPP) meeting would be held soon after the party elections.
However, Fahmi said he has not yet received an official date for this meeting.
"So far, I have not received any date for the MPP meeting.
"I will check, but as of now, there are no updates. Usually, after the elections, a meeting is held to confirm new appointments and fill necessary positions," he said.
The upcoming MPP meeting is expected to be an important platform to clarify the positions of key party leaders and the direction of PKR following the election results.
