E-hailing driver who worked 15 hours a day dies of stroke at 49
He was a humble man who was always generous in sharing his experience, says his colleague.

SINGAPORE – A Singaporean e-hailing driver who devoted his life to supporting his children died on May 29 after suffering a sudden stroke.
According to a report by digital media Mothership, Gavin Neo, 49, died three days after suffering the stroke.
Throughout his life, Neo was known as a dedicated father who was willing to sacrifice for the future of his two children, aged 17 and 13.
A fellow e-hailing driver and colleague, Bryan Ang said Neo would often start his driving shifts from noon until late at night, only resting after sending his children to school in the morning.
"He never complained. When I asked him why he still ate frugally despite working so hard, he said it was all for his children and their future," Ang shared in a Facebook post.

He added that Neo did not smoke or drink alcohol and rarely spent on himself. Instead, he often helped and guided new drivers in the e-hailing industry.
"He was a humble man who was always generous in sharing his experience," Ang said.
Neo’s daughter who was currently abroad with her mother, was unfortunately unable to attend his funeral.
The funeral service for Neo was held on May 31.
