Terrifying child abduction attempt in Genting?
Police confirmed that they were looking into the widely circulated post which claimed a kidnapping attempt had occurred.

SHAH ALAM - A video of an alleged attempted child abduction in Genting Highlands went on social media on Monday, prompting an investigation by the police.
Police confirmed that they were looking into the widely circulated post which began spreading around 8.30pm which claimed a kidnapping attempt had occurred.
Bentong district police chief Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said based on the police's initial findings, no formal police report regarding the incident has been received as of June 10.
"The police are requesting the owner of the TikTok account @awiegerbangmalam to come forward to the Bentong district police headquarters to assist with the investigation into this incident.
"Anyone who has experienced a similar situation is urged to come to the nearest police station and lodge an official report first," he said in the statement.

The incident gained traction after a Facebook user shared her personal account online, describing a deeply unsettling experience involving her two children aged seven and four, who were almost taken by a suspicious woman.
She believed that the suspects may have thought that her children were alone or unsupervised.
"From what I observed, there were at least two people involved, possibly more. But I clearly noticed three individuals. One man was watching from a higher level, even recording, though he did not seem to have a child with him. His appearance did not resemble that of a local either.
"Shortly after, I noticed a woman probably of Burmese (Myanmar) descent wearing child-friendly clothing decorated with flowers, teddy bears and hearts. She was interacting with my two children, carrying them and jumping around playfully. Something about the situation just didn’t feel right," she wrote in a Facebook post.
Concerned by the woman’s unusually intense focus on her children and the sense that she might suddenly leave with them, the Facebook user immediately informed her husband about the situation.
She said she continued to keep an eye on the woman and eventually spotted her near the outer exit with the children.
"My husband was already there at the game area close to the exit, observing if our children would follow her out. Then, as if waiting for the right moment, the woman put on her shoes while still being watched by the man above.
"My children even started putting on their shoes to leave with her. Thankfully, my husband intervened just in time," she added.
The user claimed that the woman left the scene immediately after realising they were being watched. She then went outside trying to find and confront the woman, but she had vanished.
She added that her husband observed the woman touching their children’s heads and feet, almost as if inspecting them.
"This experience has shaken us. You really cannot let your guard down, not even in a place like Genting Highlands. It is not as safe as it seems," she said.
As of now, the police were still investigating the matter and no arrests have been made.
