Bella Astillah supports Syed Saddiq at appeal hearing

PUTRAJAYA – Actress and singer Bella Astillah made an early appearance at the Court of Appeal on Tuesday morning to show her support for Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who is awaiting a verdict on his appeal.

Looking composed and elegant in a light blue baju kurung, Bella arrived at 7.50am accompanied by two assistants.

Shortly after, she was seen making her way to the court canteen to meet Syed Saddiq’s parents, who had arrived a few minutes earlier at 7.38am.

A three-judge panel from the Court of Appeal, comprising Datuk Ahmad Zaidi Ibrahim, Datuk Azman Abdullah and Datuk Noorin Badaruddin, is expected to deliver the verdict at 9am today.

Syed Saddiq is currently appealing against his conviction and sentence for abetting criminal breach of trust, misuse of funds and money laundering involving funds belonging to Bersatu's Armada.
